Illustrators Sketch Group - October 13th
Attention Illustrators! We're forming a sketch group to meet at Wordstock on October 13th, and we'd love to have you join us! We'll be meeting in front of the KinderCare Children's Stage at 10:00 a.m. Please contact Julia Karlinsky-Tikhonov at tihojulia@yahoo.com so we know to look for you. You can purchase a $7 ticket for the event at www.worstockfestival.com.

TweetMeet and Greet the Co-Regional Advisors
Yes, most of our members are in the Portland metro area, but that doesn't mean we, your Co-Regional Advisors, don't want to get acquainted with the rest of you.
Therefore, we are planning the first set of "Meet and Greet"s in the farther reaches of our lovely state. If you are interested in attending one, you do not have to live in that area to attend--go where it is convenient. But please RSVP, the meeting coordinator, so there is enough space reserved. We are sending/have sent email invitations to those living in each area. Meet and Greets are free events.
We plan to do more Meet and Greets in other areas of the state later.

P.S. Meet and Greets will include time to get acquainted with other SCBWI members, discussion of what SCBWI Oregon can do for you, and Q&A with the Co-RAs.
P.P.S. If meeting at a restaurant, each member is responsible for paying for their own food and beverage. (If you don't want to buy a meal, purchase a beverage as a courtesy to the restaurant for providing space.)

After our meeting, there are restaurants in walking distance and those, who would like to, can go to dinner.
